Boko haram terrorists have allegedly kidnapped 18 female soldiers from Baga in Borno state, Nigeria; SAHARA REPORTERS.
Two unnamed sources reportedly told the online media house that out of
26 female soldiers posted to the military base of the Multinational
Joint Task Force, only 8 have so far been accounted for.
Also, Colonel Kuti, commander of the troops have reportedly been missing since Saturday.
Speaking to the press, residents of Baga said that boko Haram insurgents
invaded their town and killed at least 55 people, including soldiers.
Senator Maina Ma’aji Lawan has confirmed the attack on Baga, although
the Nigeria Defence Headquarters is yet to issue an official statement.
